Kayla Knowles

Education and Professional Background

Kayla Knowles joined The Melonakos Law Firm in 2019 after spending multiple years working for the South Carolina Department of Probation and the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office.  She is now the Senior Case Manager and Team Lead.  Kayla graduated Cum Laude from Southern Wesleyan University where she majored in Criminal Justice while playing for SWU’s Softball Team. Afterwards, Kayla went on to obtain her paralegal degree at Greenville Technical College!

Personal

When Kayla isn’t working at the firm, she enjoys playing with her children, watching her son play all the sports, and spending time with her husband. She loves helping our clients and answering their questions and concerns throughout the case. She says she prefers working in personal injury instead of criminal law because, “Personal injury cases foster a sense of what it means to truly help others in their time of need.”
